The Fox say, “I Love You”

Hello, Blogisphere…

I am excited to be writing my first Stampin’ Up blog post ever!! I hope to be able to keep up with posting something at least once a week. If I can, I will move to a more robust blog platform.

I have been a Stampin’ Up demonstrator off and on (mostly on 😉 ) for almost 5 years now! I have mostly been what we like to call, “a happy shopper,” but this year, I have decided I want to try to run this as a business. If you’d like to know just how happy you can be as a shopper, just let me know! 🙂 And now through March 31st is THE best time of year to join up, whether as a business opportunity or “just” for the discount!!

I certainly have many more creations that I’ve done over the years (see some of the most recent here on Pinterest in My Creations), but I’m not going to try to back-blog (haha… that sounds like “backlog”– oh yeah, I’m a nerd 😉 ). If you see anything on Pinterest that you would like to know how I made or what I used to make it, just shoot me an email!

First up are a couple of Valentine’s that I made to send to the man in my life. Yes… I said, “send”… we are seperated by two time zones and will be for awhile yet. It’s hard, but we’re working! 🙂 I made both of these cards in less than an hour (and that includes rummaging around for the occasional supplies as my craft area is a wreck right now).

The first card matches the utterly ridiculous gift I sent– a musical fox that plays that obnoxious and infectious song, “What the Fox Say?” LOL (one of those “us” things 🙂 ) I used the stamp set, Hey Valentine, and colored the fox with Blendabilities from the Skin Tone Assortment. Punch him out with the Note Tag punch, add a little piece of paper and a strip of washi tape, both “Stacked with Love,” and Boom! Done! 🙂
valentine foxThe next one is a more serious card. I used the Ampersand embossing folder (using my new Texture Boutique) and cut out the “You” and “Me” pieces from one of the stamps in the You Plus Me stamp set. Added a couple of strips of the Stacked with Love paper stack (which I saved some dough cheese on by purchasing the stamp set and the paper stack as a bundle!), and this guy was done super quick! 🙂 The “hardest” part was deciding which paper to use on the banners LOL

valentine you plus me

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to have more for you next week! 🙂
