Welcome to the June Remarkable Blog Tour where we are featuring the BRAND NEW catalog!! Isn’t it just the bee’s knees?!
You probably got here from Anne‘s, but if you get lost, all the links are at the bottom! ๐
My brown box with the smallest possible order ever (new In Color Ink Pads, sample pack of In Color cardstock, and the Bunch of Blossoms bundle featured here) arrived AFTER 5:30 today!! PLUS, I haven’t seen ANY samples made with this, so I had to draw on my own artistic wit ๐ But, I’m happy with how they turned out. I made a series of 4″ x 4″ cards.
First up, is a traditional use of the set. Flowers! Also featured are Sweet Sugarplum and Emerald Envy. I also used the Timeless Textures set to add a little more depth.
Next up, is a card featuringย the second thing I “saw” when I saw this set– little bitty starfish! ๐ I used Peekaboo Peach and Dapper Denim. The “water” is the chevron stamp from Work of Art.
My last card I’m sharing is actually the first card I made, drawing from the first non-flower thing I “saw” when I looked at this set! Maybe it’s because it’s how the stamps are printed on the front cover, but I saw the upside down petal as a little ballerina tutu!! I used Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, and Flirty Flamingo to make her little dress–covered in Wink of Stella, of course! I love that it kind of adds an organza-like overlay look to it. I bowed the petal around so that it’s poofed out ๐ย I thought this would be cute to give a girl for her ballet recital. The sentiment is from Suite Sayings. And again, I used Timeless Textures to give it some more dimension (think the swirly pattern a ballerina makes as she dances ๐ ). The Classy Designer button is the back of her head!
Hope you’ve enjoyed these! ๐ Hop on over to Audra to see what she has for us! ๐
