Welcome to the RemARKables May Blog Tour. This month we’re focusing on retiring products that we don’t want to say goodbye to 😥
You probably hopped here from Tracie, but if you get lost, all the links are at the bottom! 🙂
My first project uses a lot of retiring products: Beautiful Bunch stamp set, Pretty Petals DSP stack, 1″ square punch, Fun Flower punch, Pacific Point Striped Satin ribbon, and Botanical Garden Jewels.
I have to admit that I wasn’t crazy about the color combination in this DSP stack when it first came out, but it definitely grew on me! 🙂 My Calypso Coral squares are 1-1/8″. I also used my Blender Pen to smoosh out the lines a little bit.
My next project uses a retiring set that I will not be letting go of! 😉 Zoo Babies! How could they? 😥 I also used another favorite, Dotty Angles as well as the Ornate Tag Topper punch and A Dozen Thoughts stamp set. First, I cut my scrap color cardstock to 2″ wide and punched it out. Then, I cut my white to 1-7/8″ wide. I did my stamping first THEN I cropped the bottom, adhered it to the color cardstock, then cut that… was easier than trying to figure out measurements beforehand 🙂 I also used 2 retiring ribbons that are DISCOUNTED (while supplies last!), Pink Pirouette Seam Binding and Pear Pizzazz Cotton.
I was going to do another project, but I’ve been a bit under the weather this week 😦 Rain, rain, go away!! (today marks 16 straight days… my ark’s almost finished…)
Hop along to see what Audra has for you!
