August RemARKables Blog Tour

From now on, we will be focusing on bundles offered in the catalog. This month, we are featuring bundles in the Annual Catalog. Have you noticed how many there are?!?!?! As if the fact that coordinating products wasn’t awesome enough, NOW you can get a discount on buying them together! Like icing on the cake 🙂 mmmm… cake… sorry– I’m “clean eating” these days, so no cake for me!

I only have one small card to share with you today, in small part because the blog tour snuck up on me, but in large part because I wanted to tell you how quick and simple this card was, with minimal supplies!

I needed a baby card to go with a shower gift, so I almost went with the Something for Baby stamp set and framelits bundle, but I decided to go cleaner than that (I guess to go along with my clean eating HAHA).

My bundle is the Banner Banter bundle! Framelits are all fine and dandy, but I just LOVE LOVE LOVE coordinating punches!

I’m telling you– super super simple! I started with the Notecards and Envelopes (yet another “bundle”) as my base. It measures 3 1/2″ x 5″. I used my Stampin’ Trimmer to cut out a piece of the Pool Party paper from the Cherry on Top DSP stack (3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″). Then I cut another whisper white piece (2 7/8″ x 4 3/8″; I wanted a little more of the DSP to show, so I cut it smaller than traditional layers would be). The banner colors (in order L to R) are Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Soft Sky (Bermuda Bay words), and Bermuda Bay. I just tied a bow and tacked it on with a glue dot! DONE! Seriously, from design concept to finish was less than 15 minutes.
